Walking


Devon has a great variety of walks and encompasses pushchair strolls to wilderness walking in Dartmoor. Walks for families and for serious ramblers.
The South Devon AONB (Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty) has 232 miles of public footpaths.
Tubbs Delight gives you easy access to The South West Coast Path.

Kingsbridge is a Walkers are Welcome town and is having an annual walking festival.

Golf
There are 8 golf courses within 20 miles. They range from cliff top 18 hole courses to 9 hole parkland courses. Some require a handicap and have strict dress code such as Thurlestone Golf club while Dainton Park allows less experienced golfers and the ability to hire both shoes and clubs.

Water sports
Whether its sailing, canoeing, diving, water skiing or surfing you can try these in the local area. Salcombe, Plymouth, and Totnes all provide tuition and hire.
